Degrees: I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) concurrently earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in African Studies. Thereafter, I returned back to school to pursuing a career in nursing. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles . Later I obtained Master of Science in Nursing from California State University, Dominguez Hills and thereafter obtained her Ph.D. from UCLA School of Nursing in their Health Disparities and Vulnerable Populations Research Program.
